The first step - We offer complete diagnostic evaluations, which determine the child's needs and provide the family with critical information and ideas for intervention

Assessments are conducted relating to speech, voice, language, fluency, and social disorders at all levels of severity. We evaluate each child's strengths and areas of concern using parent report, unstructured play and conversation, and formal tests.  Evaluations are performed by a licensed speech/language pathologist.

Individualized treatment plans will be developed based on the results of a comprehensive speech and language assessment.  Treatment plans are tailored to the child's area(s) of need and learning style/strengths.  Therapy is conducted by a licensed speech/language pathologist.  Each therapy session is 60, 45, or 30 minutes in duration leaving 5 minutes at the end of the allotted session time to discuss what was worked on and what needs to be practiced at home.

SPOT Kids Speech Therapy offers screenings by a licensed speech pathologist.  A speech and language screening is a brief "snapshot" of your child's skills (approximately 20 minutes in duration ) to determine if a full evaluation is appropriate.  If an evaluation is warranted and conducted at our clinic, the fee for the screening is waived.
